Orange Level at Queensgate

- All stores, the foodcourt, cafes and restaurants no longer have limits on the number of customers inside at one time.

- For your safety, face masks remain mandatory when you are inside the Centre. This includes entering the Centre, all stores including beauty, nail salons and hairdressers, and the foodcourt. Staff will also continue to wear a face mask.

- Our kids play area will re-open and ride-on toys will return in the coming days.

- My Vaccine Pass mandates are no longer required. This means close-contact businesses, cafes and the Foodcourt no longer need to sight customers My Vaccine Passes.

- Close-contact businesses like nail salons, hairdressers, beauticians and massage may choose to continue to require customers to present their My Vaccine Passes.

Please note that current face mask requirements remain unchanged and face masks are required to be worn when visiting the Centre.

There is also no longer a requirement for you to scan in or for a business to display a QR code poster.


COVID RESTRICTIONS

Face coverings remain mandatory for retail, please remember to maintain 1m physical distancing.


WHAT STORES ARE OPEN?
In the Orange level, we expect all retailers, cafes, and close contact businesses to be open at Queensgate Shopping Centre.


WHEN DO I NEED MY VACCINE PASS?

- My Vaccine Pass mandates are no longer required. This means close-contact businesses, cafes and the Foodcourt no longer need to sight customers My Vaccine Passes.

- Close-contact businesses like nail salons, hairdressers, beauticians and massage may choose to continue to require customers to present their My Vaccine Passes.

- Essential retail stores like supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks do not need to ask to see your My Vaccine Pass.


GENERAL RETAIL STORES
General Retail is not required to use My Vaccine Passes and can open with no capacity limits.


FOODCOURT AND CAFES

- Cafes and Foodcourt retailers are open

- There is also no longer a requirement for you to scan in or for a business to display a QR code poster.


COMMUNITY LIBRARY

Our Community Library will return in the coming days.


PLAY AREAS
The Kids play area and ride-on toys will return in the coming days.


CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK

Our Information Desk team will be wearing masks and will ask you to wait on the queue spots that are placed on the ground in front of the desk.

Equipment such as mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available. As always, we will continue to sanitise each item before use.

COVID-19 Tracer App

The Ministry of Health has created a tracing app – NZ COVID Tracer. This is for the public to log and track their movements when visiting organisations and businesses, and who they have come in contact with.

Next time you visit Queensgate Shopping Centre you may notice this QR code displayed at our entrances.
Simply scan the QR code with the COVID Tracer app to register that you have visited the Centre.
